Joshua

Joshua's favorite part of a haircut is the moment the cape comes off. Nearly a decade behind the chair and that's still what he's after: the shift in someone's face when they see the finished result and sit up a little straighter. It's the reason he started cutting hair in the first place, and it shapes how he runs everything leading up to it.

Getting there starts with the consultation, and Joshua doesn't rush it. He asks the questions that actually matter and won't pick up a tool until he's confident he and the client are working toward the same thing. He's direct without being blunt, self-assured in what he recommends, and genuinely easy to talk to. Most clients notice how quickly they feel heard.

Technically, he built his skill set in both directions on purpose. Joshua learned scissors early and made a point of getting equally sharp with clippers, so scissor work on top and clean clipper work through the sides happen in the same chair instead of across two appointments. His clientele is as varied as his background, and he's comfortable across hair types, textures, and styles.

The experience itself stays relaxed. Joshua wants you comfortable in the chair and looking and feeling better when you get out of it.
