Hektor

Hektor spent his first career in fashion, and he still thinks like it. Ten years into hair, he tracks the industry the same way he used to track that one: what people are wearing, what they're looking at, what's about to feel dated. It keeps his work current without chasing novelty for its own sake.

His training runs through both barbering and hairstyling, and the place where those two meet is where he does his best work. Scissor work is his specialty, built on a foundation in long hair, and it shows in how he handles texture, weight, and movement. Long layers, shape through the mid-lengths, cuts that grow out the way they're supposed to. He brings the same sensibility to shorter work, where a clean skin fade meets real texture up top and the two read as one haircut rather than two ideas stacked on each other.

The consultation is collaborative by design. Hektor wants to understand how you live before he decides how to cut: your routine, how much time you actually spend on your hair, what you'll maintain once you're out of the chair. The haircut gets built around that, so it works on a Tuesday morning and not just the day you leave the shop.

What he's after underneath all of it is trust. Hektor wants clients comfortable enough to say what they really want, and confident afterward that handing it over was the right call.
