AANUKO ("we", "us") runs barbershops at 5790 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232 and 2616 W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90018. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit aanuko.com, book with us, come into a shop or see our ads, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

WHAT WE COLLECT

• What you give us: your name, email, phone number, appointment details, notes about your hair and preferences, and anything you send us in a message. Payments are handled by our booking and payment providers; we don't store full card numbers.
• What's collected automatically: your device and browser type, the pages you visit, how you got to our site (for example, which ad or link you followed), approximate location from your IP address, and information from cookies and similar technologies.
• From advertising partners: Meta and Google send us reports about our ads, and may tell us when someone who saw or clicked an ad went on to book.
• Photos: we photograph haircuts in our shops for our portfolio and marketing, with your agreement. You can ask us to stop using a photo of you at any time.

HOW WE USE IT

• To book, confirm and run your appointments, and send reminders.
• To provide our services and remember your preferences.
• To contact you, including marketing emails or texts if you've agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To run and improve our website and services.
• To advertise on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and Google, and to measure which ads lead to bookings.
• To keep our services secure and to meet our legal obligations.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

• Service providers who work for us: Shopify (our website), Mangomint (booking and payments), email and text messaging providers, analytics providers, and hosting providers for our internal tools. They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
• Advertising partners (Meta and Google) through tools on our site such as the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, and through server-to-server connections that report bookings back to them. Under California law this can count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• When required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

COOKIES AND ADVERTISING CHOICES

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage how ads are shown to you through Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com), your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences, and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info). Where required by law, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, including in California, you have the right to:

• know what personal information we have about you, and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct it or delete it;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising;
• not be treated differently for using any of these rights.

DELETING YOUR DATA

To have your information deleted, email chris@aanuko.com with the subject "Delete my data". We'll delete or de-identify your information, except anything the law requires us to keep, such as records of past transactions.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, generally while you're a client and for a reasonable time afterwards, and longer where the law requires it.

SECURITY

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

CHILDREN

Our website isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them online. Appointments for younger clients are booked by a parent or guardian.

CHANGES

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
